Savvy Saving

As shoes are a basic necessity and lip gloss a part of daily life, unnecessary expenditure is a cent lost never to be regained. A few money tips and quick saves can easily fill your purse bringing you closer to a new buy as every cent saved is a cent towards our needs.
My Top Tips:
1)      Wardrobe waste:
-          With a messy wardrobe it’s rather easy to forget about that scarf from last winter and your favourite pair of jeans as finding clothes in your “ordered chaos” could be tricky.
#Tip 1: Organise your wardrobe so that you not only find old treasures but also, so that you don’t buy something you already own.

2)      ATM withdrawal:
-          When withdrawing money from ATM’s we often don’t take note of the ATM machine we’re withdrawing from. Depending on the bank you have an account with, will depend on your bank charges, but when using a bank’s ATM that you do not have an account with, you get charged for using the random banks machine and your bank charges. Crazy? Crazy! So take that extra escalator and walk to the next corner and avoid those extra charges.

3)       Wallet Nightmare
-          Messy wallet? Sit down and sort out. Very often our wallets are full of coupons and old receipts and once you sort through these you might find receipts with attached discounts or giveaways.
Free Frenzy:
1)      Club Card Holder
-          All I can say is, join, join, join. Your favourite cafĂ© on the corner and go-to ice cream store most likely have club card programmes, where you earn points with each buy or receive free goods when it’s your birthday. Boohyaah!
 Happy Saving!
